Make Me Invisible

October 23, 2018

Make me invisible

I pray

The fog slinks upward

The fish rise just out of reach

They can see me and do not want to be close

Make me invisible

I walk

Everybody sees me

Nobody hears

I don’t want to play this game

Make me invisible

I just want to disappear

To be a point of light

A thousand lightyears from here

Make me invisible

Because I cannot be forgotten

And I cannot forget

I will still know your name

And you will still know mine

You do not see me, you do not want to be close

Make me invisible

And let me go
